Natural Wedding Videography in Buckinghamshire for Amy and Eoghan
The “wedding industry” can feel like a lot. I blame social media; the constant churn of content, always trying something different to catch an algorithm, and chasing something new as if doing something that’s already been done is passe.
I kinda hate that! Your wedding is so much more than social media content.
Take the traditions that you want, and leave the rest. Celebrate what makes you unique, but don’t feel pressured into the cult of novelty.
When it comes to wedding videography, I like to keep it real, and create an honest film that reminds you what your wedding looked, and more importantly, felt like. No trends, minimal posing, and capturing authentic moments.
Amy and Eoghan’s wedding was the perfect mix of old and new, traditions and modern twists, formal and relaxed. Best of all, it was full of love and laughter.
I started at groom prep with Eoghan and the guys, and honorary guy Piglet who stole the show, and dad’s breakfast, before heading over to Amy and the bridesmaids.
Amy and Eoghan wanted natural, candid, and documentary shots from me, keeping the day as relaxed and as chill as possible. That’s right up my street, I’m all about capturing the day as it happens and keeping it real.
Amy and Eoghan married at a local church, standing in history. I love thinking that my couples are standing in the same places as countless couples before them, maybe even hundreds of years ago. That’s incredible. We’re just dust in the wind, dude.
After the ceremony, we took group shots in the grounds, and then took a stroll around an adjacent National Trust garden. I’m not a natural rule breaker, but you can get away with a fair bit when you’ve got a couple in their wedding outfits! The flowers were gorgeous, and it was definitely worth the adrenaline spike. Shout out to Kate Grey Photography for being a good bad influence.
And then it was back to a private residence for catching up, drinks, live music, speeches, garden games, a stunning sunset, and a packed dancefloor!
I’ve talked before about how celebrating at home can be a wonderful thing, and it was a great choice again, perfectly distilling the relaxed celebratory vibes that they wanted.
